A native of Gurabo, Puerto Rico,  José has been riding & training Paso Fino horses since he was a young boy.  Learning first from his father, José Sr., and his uncle, Pedro Ochoa, José moved on to work with professional master trainers Diego Rincon & Henry Montoya in Puerto Rico and David & Pacho Castro in the U.S.A. 

 

José has shown Carmin de Capuchino to championships at Spectrum and other major shows.  He has also successfully shown Brujula de la Luisa, Carmina del Caron, Deseada del Viento, Genuina Radiante CRD and La Gitana Nojana.
